KVISTALÅNGA

This project primarily focus was sustainable development.

KVISTALÅNGA is a sit and foot stool. It can for example be used in the hall, living room and bedroom. It can also be used as a sideboard by exchanging the removable seat to a tabletop.

The stool consists of 2 side pieces fastened with wedges which makes it easy for the manufacturer to exchange parts or rebuild it into a bench for example. The modular design also makes it possible to easily repair different parts if needed.

HARDBEET

This project primarily focus was developing a new material from a wastestream.

HARDEET is a material developed from sugarbeet tops which is a wastestream. It contains no other materials or additives. Therefore the process takes alot of trial and error to test the possibilities and limitations of our material. Although there is still much to explore and develop we want to show the potential of our material through a design concept.

Material vision
”The bio-based fibre material is very hard and ductile for its light weight, and comes with a smooth and textured surface. It has a uinque fibre pattern and a natural green color. The material elicits comfort and confidence. Hardbeet feels natural, calm and nostalgic to touch and be around.” – Alexandra, Algot & Tova (2024).

KRISHUSET

This project primarily focus was User Centered Design.

KRISHUSET is a product used by teachers in middleschool classes to educate and illustrate crisis preparedness.

Purpose: Make middleschoolers better prepared for a eventual crisis.

Background: With our own user research we noticed that families often are well prepared with assets, however we saw a lack of mental and common knowledge about crisis and preparing for a crisis.
